Custom Christmas Cards

Custom Christmas cards are so cool! This year we only did a couple, frankly because we're just not that good at it. Our priority has always been photography and retouching as it applies to photographs, not graphic design. However, the few custom cards we've done have been so well appreciated and received that we'd really like to better prepare for and expand into this area next year.

Here's one we did for the Fredericks this year.

Not too bad for a humble beginning? The thing we love most is the reward of seeing customers really delighted to have such nice Christmas cards/pictures. So, keep your eyes open for more and keep us in mind next year!

Merry Christmas!

We're writing this from the busy metropolis of Moore, Oklahoma, tens of miles from home in Edmond. =) We're chilling on the "South Side" today with Holly's family who moved here from Edmond a few years ago so her brothers could live at home and go to OU.

Most of you already know that Holly has 5 brothers, none of which are married, so there's no end to the video gaming and air soft gun battles. =) Good times! It's a lot of fun, and Christmas here stretches for at least a few days of movies, good food and general merriment. (That is how you spell merriment, isn't it? I must only use that word once a year.)

We wish you all the very best Christmas ever and hope you are able to spend it with loving family and friends. And despite the commercialization of it all, I hope you'll keep in mind the true meaning of Christmas -- God' most precious Gift to mankind, His Son, Jesus.

Merry Christmas!!!

Wadley's Christmas Portraits

You really can't tell by the pictures, but we had the Wadley's scheduled for Christmas pictures on one of the coldest days to date (before all of this snow hit!). It was not only cold, but windy! They were great sports and we were honored that they trusted us so much despite the weather. After the one-hour session, we were all worn out and little Nathan fell asleep in his Mom's arms. So sweet! They told us after seeing the proofs that they were really surprised at how well they turned out, considering how uncooperative the weather was.

Here are a few of our favorites...

That Santa suit was SO soft, warm and snuggly that we all wished we had one that day!

He's such a good sport. It's been fun to see him grow up this year.

What a beautiful picture of mother and son!

That's all for now. Thanks for stopping by!

Brooke & Chris's Anniversary Portraits

Most of our portrait sessions are for engagements, high school seniors or growing families. Those are all milestone occassions and great times for photographs, but a lot of people forget about anniversaries, especially if they don't have kids yet. Todays couples are waiting years oftentimes before having children, and they just don't think about having portraits done. I can't blame them! Holly and I did the same thing, but looking back, we really should have done portraits sooner after our wedding. The next time we did portraits was after our first was born and we look SO different! =) But I digress...

Brooke and Chris are good friends of a bride we photographed recently (Brooke actually helped with her bridal session -- Thanks, Brooke! =) and after seeing her portraits they decided to do book a session with us. We had a great time as always, especially since they're such outgoing and fun people. Here are some of our faves from the day!

Isn't that tree just glorious!?

We were blessed with lots of colorful leaves

Well, that's all for now! Thanks for stopping by for the latest!
